Some of the traffic images on this website are sourced from the Highways Agency’s traffic management cameras on the truck road and motorway network in England.

The images must not be viewed whilst driving. In law a person may be regarded as driving a vehicle whilst the engine is running and the vehicle is stationary.

The images are Crown Copyright and are supplied for re-use on this website by Trafficlink (UK) Ltd with the agreement of the Highways Agency on behalf of the Secretary of State acting under delegated licensing authority from the Controller of Her Majesty’s Stationery Office (HMSO).
 
The traffic images may only be re-used or copied to others under Licence by the Secretary of State. Requests to re-use the images under Licence may be made by completing the on-line application form on the traffic camera pages of the Agency’s website (www.highways.gov.uk).
 
The traffic images may however be reproduced free of charge in any format or medium provided they are reproduced for research private study or internal circulation within an organisation subject to their being reproduced accurately and not used in a misleading context.
 
Objectives of Providing the Images to the Public and Feedback
The Secretary of State licenses the re-use of traffic images from the Highway’s Agency’s traffic management cameras to provide traffic information to the public in support of better journey planning and more reliable journeys.
